Terratec Cinergy T Stick Driver Windows 10
if you are interested in gsm, umts or lte, sdr# is the way to go. i could not find any open source dvb-t software to have a look at that’s capable of showing channel information. the cinergy stick is available from terratec for 20 euros (with the software) and it can be ordered from amazon for a very low price. the stick can be used with windows xp, vista or 7 but the software will not work if you are using windows 8. you also need to have a motherboard with at least a 400 mhz front side bus. if you are interested in the details you can see the list of supported usb sticks and sticks with the hardware on osmocom’s hardware page. the cinergy t stick should work with all of those listed so it should be possible to use it to test your own hardware. if you have a question you can contact me at dvbt@osmocom.org. if you want to donate, i can accept euros, bitcoins, ltc or doge.
to be on the safe side, i backed up all the files/folders of the system:
- i moved everything from the c:\windows folder to a new drive
- i also copied all the files/folders from the new drive to the old drive
- i copied all the files/folders from the old drive to a new drive
- i copied all the files/folders from the new drive to the old drive
- i removed the files/folders from the new drive
this issue occurs especially when the wlan card is not fully integrated into the motherboard of the notebook. often these issues are a result of the driver. it has nothing to do with the hardware or the device. the driver is outdated and has problems with the newer network interfaces.
