Wound healing is one of the most important problems in the treatment of venous ulcers. For this reason, we started to observe the healing process in our wound care and treatment. We performed pressure therapy, surgical debridement, skin grafting and subsequent conservative wound care for 37 venous ulcers. Twenty-three ulcers healed in 16 patients (mean duration of healing: 12.5 months). In two cases partial healing was obtained, which was maintained for one year. In 15 patients an ulcer remained untreated due to patient’s refusal. In 11 cases therapy and follow-up failed. Fifty per cent of venous ulcers of the lower extremity heal spontaneously after a mean time of 12.5 months. i have a rake task which needs to be called at a certain time.
i have tried using a cron job but the task is not getting called.
this is my rakefile:

i know that the rake task is not getting called. Can anyone help me in scheduling the rake task?

Change your wget command to:
wget -O – -q > /dev/null 2>&1
That way you don’t have to redirect any input to the script, but just silently fail to run the task if it fails.
